Alors cette adresse c'est l'adresse typique romaine de charcuterie. On y va pour se régaler et oui comme toutes les bonnes choses on en sort avec un portefeuille plus léger. On y mange un excellent culatello au sous-sol dans une ambiance trattoria d'un autre temps.

Tucked away near Campo de’ Fiori, Roscioli Salumeria con Cucina offers an exceptional late night Roman dining experience. On a recent visit, I went in for a classic Roman duo: cacio e pepe and gnocchetti all’amatriciana — and both delivered with personality and precision. Cacio e Pepe was beautifully executed. The pasta was cooked perfectly al dente, coated in a creamy emulsion of sharp pecorino and freshly ground black pepper. The flavors were bold without being overpowering. Gnocchetti all’Amatriciana was a delightful twist on the classic replacing the usual rigatoni with soft, pillowy gnocchetti. The sauce was the star: rich in tomato, just the right level of spice, and layered with crispy guanciale that added texture and a smoky depth. This dish felt indulgent without being heavy, and it’s easy to see why it’s a customer favorite. Roscioli’s dining space is built into a bustling salumeria, with shelves lined with fine wines, cheeses, and cured meats. The vibe is relaxed but buzzing , intimate, yet authentically Roman. Even at a later hour (past 9:30 PM), the staff was attentive and welcoming, and the energy of the place hadn’t slowed down one bit. Don’t forget to tell them Flavia sent you!
