We’ve been here a couple times and the food is great, and the service was wonderful. The bartender took the time to make super elaborate drinks for our kids which they loved. The vegetarian selections are awesome, and nicely separated on the menu. They only had 355mL cans for the beers we ordered, but because the price was for 473mL they brought us two cans each without us even saying anything! The hot lemon water to wash our hands was an awesome touch, as was the birthday song over the speakers for my son and a cake with a candle for his age and a card. He was so incredibly happy, and it made for a great occasion. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

It's weird to think of Rajdoot restaurant in Mission as a "hidden gem," because it's actually been a staple of the neighbourhood since 1988, but a lengthy location move down the road which caused them to close their doors for a time, combined with a changing restaurant scene in the wake of COVID has really taken it's toll on this family business and I hate to see it. For my money it's still the best Indian restaurant in town. Not that I've sampled everything on their menu, but I defy anyone to try the dill fish tikka, tandoori chicken, and chicken azamani (butter chicken cooked in brandy and red wine with mango) and tell me this place isn't the bomb. Insanely good. It also boasts an inviting, unique ambience with a personal touch, reasonable prices, huge portions, far better hours than most Calgary restaurants (open until 1 AM the other evening), and every time I've been there over the last year-and-a-half they've literally rolled out the red carpet in serving me. Why this excellent "new" Rajdoot hasn't taken off, why it seems to be outside the circle of "trendy" Calgary restaurants, I do not know. If you enjoyed the old Rajdoot, or if you're just a lover of fine Indian food, you'll love the place. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $40–50

was with my friend when we ordered food from this restaurant. The dish was extremely tangy, so we had to return it. He also reviewed you guys additional to that After eating the food, I ended up with food poisoning within an hour. This shows serious issues with food hygiene and customer service. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and improves both quality and attitude. If this continues, the restaurant will keep losing customers because no one wants to risk their health or be treated poorly. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
