Dear Post Hotel Mittenwald team, We, my wife and I, wanted to enjoy Christmas Eve 2023 in your restaurant in a beautiful atmosphere. The Christmas menu you offer should start at 6 p.m. This suited my wife and I's schedule very well, as we planned to attend the Christmas Eve mass in the St. Peter and Paul Church after the Christmas menu. After we get to your on time Once we had taken our seats in the restaurant for the Christmas menu, the rest of the evening was unpleasant for us. After 3 hours, at 9 p.m., we were served the 3 starters (leaf ham with a slice of baguette, chestnut soup in a glass bowl, lemon ice cream ball with prosecco in a champagne glass). When I asked the waiter when the main course and the following dessert would be served to our table, I received an answer that couldn't be classified in terms of time. We left the Christmas menu in the Post Hotel at 9.15 p.m. so that we could take part in the Christmas mass without any stress. Under these circumstances, an enjoyable meal was no longer possible for my wife and I. Regardless of my experiences at the Post Hotel, Bavaria is a very beautiful travel and holiday destination.
