Absolute disaster and disgrace... Ordered from Uber Eats for €25 with cash payment. I had, among other things, a pasta with vegetables and tomato cream sauce for ten euros, with a note please for the sauce without cream - basically with tomato sauce or Bolognese sauce, as I am lactose intolerant. A few minutes after ordering, I got a call saying that the Bolognese costs 3 euros more or if you leave out the cream, just tomato sauce costs 1.50 euros more, because no matter what you want, it will be charged extra. Regardless of whether you leave something out, every change probably costs €1.50 more, although any other pasta would simply have been cheaper. He was annoyed and unfriendly right from the start, which is why I didn't want to discuss it and asked him if he could just deliver the normal Bolognese, which costs seven euros, without any special requests. Then came another stroppy answer. That wouldn't work, he doesn't have time now, I should cancel the order and redo it and he hung up without letting me finish. I couldn't cancel the order. I called again several times. The third time he answered and said what to do, I should contact Uber. The fifth time he said he would cancel it “later.” I should order again if I want to eat. Full of “confidence”, I wanted to order again without the transaction being cancelled Shortly afterwards I received a message saying that the restaurant had charged me the full amount as cancellation fees. (I couldn't order anything through the entire app because I had to pay this fee to Pizza Mile for the time being!) After further attempts to call there, he answered once "I'm not delivering food now. Please use Uber, then pay the fee, that's what you have to do!" and immediately hung up again. After that my number was blocked! I also texted this number on WhatsApp and blocked it 2 minutes later I contacted Uber and got the money back because their customer service was very understanding. but of course I didn't get any food either All of this because in the end I only had a small request and then the pizzeria wanted to make it easy to deliver me a pasta that I didn't want, simply because they were intimidated by the disrespectful manner! It's good that we are actually regular customers and only ordered from the address because I was visiting, that was definitely the last time.
