Exactly one year ago, we visited this warm kitchen for lunch. Little did we know; this Osteria in a small town on the outskirts of Bologna, would define a part of italian culture, heart, tradition and soul. We were welcomed with open arms. And altough late for lunch time, the chef - which was the only one able to communicate in english - left his kitchen to help two clueless tourists make the last lunch order. None of us were using our mother tounge, but we understood eachother, as people do when we allow for understanding. We were served a memory. Every bite a masterpiece, a symphony in which the mind and soul expanded. While sitting there, we traveled. Me and my beautiful wife were intangled in a mindbending experience through the craftmanship of the chef and staff. I do not know what perfection is, but Osteria a Modo Mio brought me closer to understanding it. One year later, today; we would like to thank you for this lovely meal and your hospitality. We are now awaiting our first born child and when the time is right, we will return; so that our child can experience Italy through your food, the way we did. Thank you.
