Went here on a Sunday for lunch. The fish was not fresh and was extremely tasteless. I was told they were out of Hamachi (yellowtail/amberjack) yet one of the pieces of nigiri in the bento box was a piece of Hamachi! The fish protein in the spicy tuna roll was unidentifiable, it most certainly was not Maguro (red tuna)! A great disappointment was Osaka Sushi; when in Oak Bay stick to Bon Sushi or Kissako for a much better experience!

Slightly above-average sushi/Japanese restaurant in the medium-cheap price range. Some good specials and a good variety of foods. Lots of vegetarian options which my friends seem to think is important. Sushi roll sizes are a little small. Soups are good, bento box is good. I don't often think to come here but it's a good choice in the Oak Bay area, though I am unlikely to travel out of my way to come here. Average service. I find the atmosphere to be nice and comfortable rather than stuffy/dark the way many similar restaurants in Victoria are.

I order from here regularly but last nights order from your restaurant gave me food poisoning. It was all I had eaten that day so there's no question that's what's caused my illness. Normally your food is amazing and I'm really disappointed in this experience. Please check your stock involved with the blackforest roll and salmon avocado rolls. I'm really disheartened to have to leave this review. I honestly really loved your food until this experience.
