I was at the Openair Gampel for two days. The Openair is surrounded by beautiful mountains. I came from Zurich by car... I advise everyone not to come by car! Go by train, since you can still wait 1-2 hours for the train at the "Lötschberg-Tunnel"... so instead of 3 hours, you then have 4-5 hours... You can also rent tents there, too can of course be very beneficial to carry less luggage. But why 2 stars...? The whole festival is badly organized in my opinion... I have to be honest that the acts aren't great and there are a lot of no names... which is totally okay, since everyone started out small... but the stages were mostly always empty. You pay 5.- for the showers which is a complete rip off! 2 croissants and 2 water for 14.-?! We are still in the vallis in the mud and not at the beach club in Porto Cervo... The last act usually played around 01:00 in the morning... but there was continuous music on the stages (until tomorrow for 08:00)... me think party is cool, but you should (at least try) to let people sleep without a bass that makes my tent vibrate. The most annoying was Sunday morning... the Openair Gampel thought that with such a crowd, two public transport buses would be enough to take you to the parking lot (45 minutes on foot). So you either wait 1.5 / 2 hours under the sun with the people or you run under the sun for 45 minutes... I found that very poorly organized.
