I chose Oasis Aqualounge to celebrate my birthday and drove from Kitchener with high expectations. I had my valid physical ID and was ready to pay and enter, but because my friend didn’t have his ID we were both refused and told to come back the next day. I fully respect ID policies, but I don’t understand why I wasn’t allowed to enter on my own. A little flexibility or even some empathy would have gone a long way, especially after such a long trip for a special occasion. This experience completely ruined my birthday, which is very unfortunate because I had heard good things about this place. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and improves how situations like this are handled.

Hi MJKThank you for your message and feedback. Under normal circumstances, you would have been let in on your own, without your friend that did not have ID. The only exception would be if your friend was female and you arrived on a Friday or Saturday (as solo men are not permitted).But we feel there is more to this story as our door staff would never deny you entry unless there were other transgresssions that occured at the time of processing (for example: arguing or using abusive language with our staff).If you wish to include all details of this incident (beyond and aside from what you are sharing with this review) you are welcome to email our management team directly at: [email protected]. I don't like the receptionist's attitude. She was quite judgemental, rasict, and descriminating on my identity. It was my first time there with my friends and we weren't even allowed in just because I asked for clarification while she was reading out the policy. She just snapped, unprofessional with no regards to customer service experience. Telling us to leave.

My first time trying this today. The fish tanks are beautiful. The ambience in the room caters to the senses. I genuinely felt like I spent quality time in nature, feeling refreshed and rejuvinated afterward.
