Previously, I left a review that this is one of the best restaurants in Odessa. We chose it for our birthday celebration and came from another city to spend the holiday here. However, if we had known how everything would go, we would not have gone. In the establishment we were forbidden to take several photographs with a flash, citing the fact that there might be military personnel in the hall, and the flash could harm them. However, only children with their mothers and young girls who were hardly connected with the war were sitting in the hall. The hall was practically empty, there was no one near our table, and we did not disturb anyone. After the remark, so as not to disturb anyone, we decided to go down the stairs and take a photo there - it was empty, there was no one around. But even there, the staff immediately approached us, saying that the outbreak could supposedly get into the hall and harm the military. To our question, who exactly could she bother, if the hall is almost empty and people are sitting far from the stairs, and these seem to be girls and children, there was no clear answer. They also did not respond to our request to understand our situation, which completely ruined the mood. If you had justified the ban differently, no questions would have arisen. But instead they began to refer to the military, and when we tried to clarify who exactly this might concern, we received only evasive answers. At the same time, there is a large sparkling decor hanging in the hall, which is not inferior in brightness to a flash, and for some reason it does not bother anyone, and several photos with a flash on such an important day could suddenly injure someone. Nikos has delicious cuisine and a beautiful interior, and the staff, who tried to rectify the situation and congratulated the birthday girl, were really attentive - they only did their job and followed the rules. There are no complaints against them here. I would really like the owner to reconsider these strange rules. It's incredibly unfortunate that the atmosphere in Nikos has become so unpleasant.
