We came here for dinner and we needed something quick before a reservation for an event later that night. We ordered very simply two main dishes, one naan, no starters, no dessert. The waitress who was taking our order didn't seem familiar with the menu at all and told us she'd "have to ask the kitchen" about basic questions, something we never got a follow-up on. Despite the simple order, we waited over 40 minutes without receiving any food. During that time, it was extremely difficult to get the attention of our waitress, who seemed overwhelmed and constantly running around. After finally catching a waitress and being able to speak to her about the long wait, we were eventually told we'd need to wait another 10-15 minutes. At that point, it was clear our order had either been forgotten or never properly sent to the kitchen. We ended up leaving without eating anything and even paying for the drinks took another 10 minutes. To make matters worse, another waitress came by in meantime asking how we enjoyed our food which we never received We wasted nearly an hour and had to grab McDonald’s just to make it to our event on time. The food is extremely tasty! The service is very cordial. The owner himself came and spoke to us in person to ask if we were happy with the food. The waitress was very polite and cheerful and made sure we were comfortable with the temperature in the room as well.Their menu is quite varied actually. Me and my boyfriend have been ordering food from Mayur Kitchen for the last 6 months since we moved to Zwolle, through thuisbezorgd. And that menu was a bit restricted. But the menu at the restaurant itself was a pleasant surprise. The desserts are absolutely yum! The ambience of the restaurant is beautiful, they play soft Bollywood songs in the background. They even have quite a few things that they serve on the house and offer discount cards for your next visits.I would definitely recommend to all the people who would like to enjoy a wonderful all-course Indian meal. You can request the level of spice you want in your food while ordering.
