It’s one thing to experience incredible food, and it’s another to experience it with family-like hospitality. We reserved an order for the traditional peka octopus the evening before. When we arrived our table and food were already prepared for us and we were welcomed to enjoy one of the best meals we had in Croatia. Some of the most humble people you’ll meet on the island and an experience worth prioritizing when visiting Vis. Instead, stay on the main paved road (#117) and you will see signs for Maxo. From Komiza, the dirt driveway will be on your left after the signs. From Vis, on your right.
