We actually always enjoyed visiting the Kochlöffel in our hometown of Fürth once or twice a week. Unfortunately there was new staff and we were left YESTERDAY evening, on Tuesday around 7 p.m. Treated EXTREMELY disrespectfully by 2 employees!!! (a fully bearded man & a woman, with a waist-length ponytail, both unmotivated and speaking very poor German) My partner ordered nuggets from the male MA and 1x fries with ketchup. Since he had forgotten to order 2 fries, I went to the checkout and subsequently ordered and paid for another fries with ketchup from the female MA. While we waited for the second fries, we ate. After about 10-15 minutes, my partner asked me whether the staff had forgotten our second fries. I said yes, but gave her a little more time because something like that can happen. There was good stuff going on. The responsible employee obviously didn't notice. Whether “forgotten” intentionally or unintentionally, I don’t know. Own We sat directly opposite the cash register. Since I was eating, my partner asked politely. In front of us, another couple got their fries with mayo. The male MA then yelled at him SO loudly and cheekily that the entire store looked at US and simply claimed that he had already given him the fries. Obviously not... He was visibly confused, didn't understand anything from the expression on his face, looked to the right and left. Instead of calling his colleagues who were at the back and asking for help, he started seriously arguing with my husband. My partner got tired of it and got angry. No sign of the female MA, who was her own fault and had overslept to give me my fries... Suddenly she came forward again and asked what was wrong. When giving out the tablet, according to my husband, she held it too tightly and thought she had to warn HIM: Chill out! My partner replies, visibly angry: Yes, but your colleague was so cheeky! She then: Be quiet and don't be so cheeky to him (HOW PLEASE!!??) Until then, I had remained calm because I was eating and as a customer you don't expect that forgetting a portion of fries can turn out like this (?!!). Then I intervened and loudly explained to her that her colleague misunderstood and was rude to my friend. I also reprimanded the male MA and said that he had misunderstood it and that the fries he had given out before were for other customers and ours were still outstanding. The female MA then said it was appropriate to say dozens of times cheekily to ME: YOU ordered, then YOU also pick up the fries (PLEASE WHAT!!?) Sorry, but that's it completely!! I was so angry at her audacity that I 1. forgot to remind her that SHE had forgotten the order and 2. what could she think of talking to ME like that!!! It's still a purchase = service!!! We PAID for the food and she makes ME or US wait for 10-15 minutes, prefers to go behind and come out sometime and then is NAUGHTY to the CUSTOMERS??? Instead of apologizing and doing their job!? I was pissed off and warned her twice: What do YOU want now!? She didn't say anything back and didn't even have the decency to apologize for herself or her colleague. Instead, she and a colleague ran behind again to gossip (yes, we heard you all the way to the front!). The male MA ran out to clean the tables and avoided eye contact even as we passed him pissed off to leave the store. Employee interviews and respectful and attentive staff with B1 or B2 German skills are urgently needed here!!! I have been working at the EZH for a long time and am usually very understanding, especially when there is a lot going on. but yesterday in Kochlöffel Fürth was simply a BOTTOMLESS INSURANCE!!! We are still angry and horrified that our evening was ruined!!! 0 stars from us, NEVER AGAIN Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €10–20
