We have often visited the Jägerhof Holderberg. Inside, the restaurant has several rooms of different sizes. Outside there is a large beer garden. The ambience is rustic and goes very well with the beautiful old building. There is a large car park right next to the Jägerhof. There are 32 on the menu! different pancakes, in savory or sweet variants. There are also salads, soups, fish, various meat dishes and various side dishes. During the week, there are special dishes on three days. A children's menu is also available. The food was always very tasty and the portions to be full. The service is very friendly, but on our two visits in the last six weeks we sometimes had to wait a very long time before we could place our orders and drinks were brought to the table. The ~30 minute wait for the food is okay as everything is freshly prepared. Conclusion: We will continue to come here! Update 08/08/2023: Today we had dinner with 12 people at the Jägerhof. Although the number of other guests was manageable, the kitchen did not show a brilliant performance again today. The dishes we ordered only came in dabs over 20 minutes! When the first ones were already done, the last ones had just gotten their food. This time there were also a lot of roasted aromas. When paying for it, there was a potato cake (side dish) on the receipt, which had neither been ordered nor served. But everyone enjoyed it anyway and the portions are still filling. The negative experiences caused me to deduct a star for service, food and the overall rating. Kid-friendliness: In the beer garden there is a slide and other play equipment. Parking: There is a private parking lot right next to the restaurant.
