The four of us spent our Christmas holidays in Sölden as a family and had dinner at Gasthof Zwieselstein on Christmas Day. Our expectations were high and we were happy, but we were disappointed in every way. The older lady is totally rude! Not only towards their employees, that in front of the guests, but also towards the guests. When our two kids ordered a rump steak and a salmon trout, she wanted to talk her out of it!? The value for money is absolutely not right here. 150€ . The quality leaves a lot to be desired! The salmon trout tasted of nothing, just bland. My loin was raw and cold, the spaetzle totally oversalted, simply inedible. Didn't eat them, it wasn't asked at first why nothing was eaten. My husband had a “grill plate” which was ridiculous. On it was a sausage, a mini turkey steak and a mini beef steak, which was totally mixed and hard to swallow. Served with 3/4 plate of fries. We paid and were glad to be able to counter. The Christmas dinner was a disaster. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €30–40
