5 stars for the food and service at Honest Restaurant Burlington. This byfar has been the BEST PLACE for INDIAN FOOD for me. Courtesy to Ms Shivani whose smile welcomed us with KK's songs being played in the background. Shivani helped us browse through the menu and also did recommendations when asked. She is a very humble lady who shows all traits of a great executive. We enjoyed flavourful Pulav and Onion uttapam. Both the dishes were delicious and lush. We came all the way from St Catharines for some work in Burlington and are surely coming back to Honest Restaurant for the delightful Indian experience. Good service, not good food. I ordered the Paneer Khadhi, Dahl makhani and Jira rice. Such a small portion of rice for $5! The Dahl was watery with no real flavor except salt, no smooth buttery taste at all. The Kadhi was bitter in flavor, only discernable spice taste was salt and too much pepper and extremely oily. Very disappointing.
