Expensive compared to the other restaurant across the street. Very oily cod and very small pieces of halibut for $24!!!!. Quick service though. However, I will not be going there again. Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 1 Service: Takeaway Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30

Stopped by Halibut House Fish & Chips and had an awesome experience! I ordered their famous halibut with poutine and coleslaw, and everything was spot on. The fish was crispy on the outside, tender inside, and paired perfectly with their tangy tartar sauce. honestly, one of the best I’ve had. The poutine was loaded and satisfying, and the coleslaw added a nice fresh crunch to the plate. Portions were huge, so definitely come hungry! I had a refreshing Fuze tea and some crisp, ice-cold water on the side, which hit the spot. Service was super fast, and the place was not busy at all, with lots of seating and cozy booths to choose from. Plus, plenty of parking made getting in and out super easy.
