Today we visited the beautifully Bavarian-style Cafe Guglhupf in Munich's old town. When we got there we found a place on the 1st floor. We were immediately greeted by the friendly waitress upstairs and both decided on "A Haferl Muichkaffää mit oana Scheibn Guglhupf". My wife took a slice of eggnog "Guglhüpfer" and I chose a slice of marzipan "Guglhüpfer". Shortly after ordering, the waitress came with our order. The latte tasted really good, and the Guglhupf pieces were large and tasted great. The piece of marzipan Guglhupf was outstanding. This was really pleasantly juicy and didn't taste too sweet. My wife also liked it so much that we decided to order 2 more pieces of Guglhupf. I ordered a piece of mango Guglhupf and my wife took a piece of marzipan Guglhupf. These pieces were also a pleasant size. The piece of mango Guglhupf was also very tasty. The service was really on point. I think she had a really good handle on the upper floor. If we wanted something she was there for us very quickly. Despite all the work, she always had a smile on her face. The service was really good! In terms of price, the whole thing was really okay.
