We were a large group on Mother's Day, so I'm not surprised we had to wait for a table. But, having to wait 2.5 hours just for a table is ridiculous. My brother-in-law went to go check on our table an hour after we waitlisted, then he came back to tell us that our name was crossed off and that we would have to wait 30 mins longer, which was not the case. My sister went back to confirm if the hostess had put our name back on the list and asked what happened. She said that my sister had told her we didn't want to wait after hearing how long it would be. My sister actually said that we were okay with waiting so the hostess proceeded to put our name down but then she walked away in the middle of her sentence. There was even another server there when we had initially asked to join the list. The hostess kept insisting that my sister had said that we didn't want to wait but why would she put her name and information down if we weren't willing to wait? We got there for 10:30 and ended up leaving close to 3. The only reason I didn't give the service 1 star was because our server was great and made the experience better. I believe her name was Nancy. Nancy was an amazing server, super polite, patient and attentive. The food was good but definitely could've done without the 2.5 hour wait. Meal type: Brunch Food: 4 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2

Food was fresh, well portioned, and reasonably priced. We got the "grill daddy special" Benedict and the smoked salmon on rye. Both were delicious. The home fries were significantly better than the average breakfast joint's home fries - if maybe a smidge salty for my personal taste. Service was fairly quick and friendly. Atmosphere was comfy, though I would've preferred a bottle of ketchup over packets. Overall, a very solid breakfast joint, no major complaints whatsoever, would recommend and would come again.
