I just had the best Indian curry at Goundens in Edenvale. The flavors are on point, the service is top-notch, and the owner's hospitality is warmer than the curry I just devoured. If you're in the area, it's definitely worth a visit. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I usually order from them and never an order less than R500 worth. 2 weeks ago the order i recieved was incorrect. I ordered lamb dhalgose and rice as 1 of my selections only to get home and find i got plain dhall i sent the girl who is running the shop pictures and was told i can fetch my refund or the correct meal. Today i asked her to make my order 2 breyani instead and i would pay the difference. I was told it cannot be substituted. I then placed the order for breyani and collection of my lamb dhalgose and rice. I get to the shop only to get told i cannot pay with cash thereafter the girl accepts but doesnt have my full change, i tell her its okay. Then i get told the manager Dharshnie declined adding the rice to the meal that i initially was not even given. For a R10 portion of rice they have just lost a good customer service together with an airline i order for people. Dharshnie did not take my call it shows there is no integrity or thought process. It was me that was disappointed with not receiving my original order, it was me that was inconvenienced to still drive there again and be refused a R10 portion of rice. Fact of the matter is i paid for a meal with rice and never got the curry to go with the rice..and still management disappoint further. Embarrassing to have such people in managerial positions with spite and no genuine customer service skills. Pathetic actually will never support people like this. Terrible service. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: R 500+ Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Good day Trish sorry to hear about your experience. I believe we are humans and do make mistakes too. We have apologised for the inconvenience caused and I have replaced your meal at a no charge for the Dhall as that was our fault for making the incorrect dish however the rice was initially given to you when you placed your order. The agreement was that we would replace the dish we incorrectly gave you. Thanks
