I had a really pleasant experience at Gondola. The food was delicious, the service was friendly, and the interior was modern and welcoming. Even the toilets were surprisingly clean and nicely designed, which added to the overall comfort. The atmosphere on the terrace was calm and relaxing, perfect for a summer lunch. However, the menu, while diverse, felt a bit too broad, trying to cover everything. I think a more focused selection would improve the quality and uniqueness of the experience. The restaurant is chic, the waiters good and the food is diverse and delicious. So why 3 stars instead of 5? I will tell you. We dined on Friday @ 19:00. Around 19:30 a DJ started playing loud techno music. We asked the waiter if the music could be turned down. Waiter told us they would not accommodate our request; he did not look happy about the loud music either. The restaurant was filled with diners, most in their 30's or 40's, and it was very difficult to talk / hear each other. No problem with restaurants becoming night clubs but maybe wait until 21:30 so the diners can finish their meals in peace.
