I don't know where to start... There is so much to say about this case, but not much good. We arrived at the time of our reservation and quite quickly we were asked if we wanted a drink. Got a drink and ordered food immediately afterwards. We waited 1 hour 10 minutes. Okay, it's busy, but it's not that big of a deal now. They were running around 4-5. The student workers were given the full brunt, barked and shouted at behind the bar, but when the alleged manager walks into the room it is all sunshine and rainbows. It is understandable that the student workers and the rest of the hall staff work there with reluctance, but it is a pity that it is noticeable. In the meantime I was starving from hunger, but when my dish finally arrived, my hunger was immediately over. My sauce jug was placed in front of me with a thick skin over it and a big snot of sauce hanging over the edge. I stirred it with my fork and, after wiping off the dirty peel, it came out almost clean; the sauce was almost like a gel. My stomach turned completely when the crab (little crab to be seen) with asparagus arrived from my table companion. With a spoonful it looked almost like a soft, snotty pudding. Anyway, the food really left a lot to be desired. Atmosphere and conviviality: below freezing. It is (understandably) full of people over 65 (more on this later) who (also understandably) talk quite loudly. Because every cm of floor in this business must be used optimally so that as many people as possible can enter and because there is nothing hanging against the wall, the acoustics are terrible. No mood music to break through the loud chatter. Bright LED lighting that only highlights the low quality of the food. In the end it became too bad: I really hoped that they wouldn't screw up a simple slice of banana, but alas. Chocolate sauce from a bottle (and as expected of low quality), flat and tasteless whipped cream and because I had already seen too many snot bubbles at the table that did not come out of our noses, my ice cream became a slimy pile of snot and therefore a major disappointment. Bon, then just pay and get away and completely forget this experience. It turned out that you could only pay by card or cash. And not just any bank card, no, just Visa or Mastercard. To return to the 65+ age group: who in that age group has such a card? You guessed it: very little. So everything is paid in cash there, according to a handwritten bill. The majority of the clientele will not realize it, will not know any better or will no longer feel like saying anything about it, but this case is actually downright scandalous. Where do I begin... Uncomfortable - A light music and some mood lighting is too much, I assume? Substandard food - Don't get me wrong, some dishes are quite good, but avoid the asparagus with crab like the plague. Maybe it's time to take another look at your menu? Was it too much cornstarch or just plain canned? Sticky gunk with no taste. And there were some sauces that were quite lumpy. Long waiting times - They made us wait for our dishes for over an hour. Initially I can understand that it can be busy, but after reading some previous reviews... You talk about big crowds on holidays (such as Mother's Day) and then it takes 45 minutes, but this easily took over an hour and this on a regular basis. Sunday. (Can't handle a full restaurant? Provide less space.) Or offering an "apology" when this happens. Didn't notice anything. This immediately leads me to the next point. Rude - You probably already noticed whether we enjoyed it, but this does not prevent you from still asking the question. And whether the customer makes a statement that he/she is wrong or not, a rude answer is still inappropriate in the hospitality industry. Doubtful - The accepted payment methods (cash or visa) are well communicated, but I do have questions about this. Especially when looking at the average customer (65+). The fact that you receive a handwritten invoice upon payment and not immediately a printed VAT receipt only reinforces this suspicion. But I'm sure if you ask for it, they'll give it to you without a boo Conclusion - Definitely not recommended, unless you like to eat somewhere where the staff is shouted at in front of a full room. (Hardly justified **the waiter had placed a dish on the wrong table, while this table had also been waiting for a long time and had coincidentally ordered the same thing**).
