I recently had the pleasure of dining at Glo Restaurant + Lounge in Victoria, BC, and it was an extraordinary experience. From the moment I walked in, I was struck by the amazing ambiance—modern, vibrant, and with a lively yet relaxed atmosphere. It's the kind of place that makes you want to stay and enjoy every moment. The food at Glo was nothing short of incredible. I had the Blackened Creole Chicken, and it was simply outstanding. The chicken was perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection, with a rich, bold flavor that left me wanting more. To accompany my meal, I chose the Passionfruit Creamsicle Spritzer, which was refreshing and perfectly balanced—a delightful drink that complemented the dish wonderfully. For dessert, I couldn’t resist the Honey Lavender Cheesecake, and it was the perfect ending to an already amazing meal. The cheesecake was creamy and rich, with just the right amount of sweetness and a subtle lavender flavor that made it truly unique. The staff at Glo were also fantastic—friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. They made sure everything was to my liking and contributed to the overall wonderful experience. Glo Restaurant + Lounge is a must-visit if you’re in Victoria. With its incredible food, great ambiance, and top-notch service, it’s the perfect spot for any occasion.
