Bar moderne et décor dépouillé. Clientèle permanente. Carte et plats corrects sans grandes surprises. Le personnel, jeune, est drillé à l'allemande: efficace et poli. Terrasse près du Dom.

Funkhaus, Cologne – our experience We visited Funkhaus in Cologne and right from the start I have to say — the food did not disappoint! We had the eggs Benedict with toast, avocado and salmon — perfectly seasoned and fresh. To drink, we enjoyed a classic mimosa, later a great ristretto, and on our next visit we tried their gin & tonic — everything was well prepared. The interior has a cozy vibe, perfect for a late breakfast or brunch with friends. The only thing I missed a bit was a smile on the staff’s faces. I understand they serve a huge number of people every day, but a smile costs nothing and always makes a difference. Overall though, I rate Funkhaus very positively and I’d definitely come back! Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5
