I checked out Friends Café for the first time today, and I gotta say, I loved it! The place looks amazing—whoever designed it really put in some effort. You can tell everything, from the decor to the food and even the staff, is done with care. The only thing was that when I ordered a waffle and a drink, my drink came pretty fast, but the waffle took so long that I had already finished my drink by the time it arrived. Disappointed and Not Worth the Price I ordered the Golden Fried Chicken Roll, Chicken Rice Bowl, and Mojito with Ice Cream, and unfortunately, the experience did not match the expectations set by the Glovo app’s professional presentation. • Golden Fried Chicken Roll (7.5/10) – The taste was decent, but it had too many vegetables, which overpowered the chicken. Also, in the app’s picture, it looked deep-fried, but mine wasn’t, which felt misleading. • Chicken Rice Bowl (4/10) – The most disappointing item. The portion barely filled half the bowl, making it feel like a scam. The chicken looked nothing like the advertised photo, there was no mozzarella cheese, and the rice was overloaded with spices, making it hard to enjoy. • Mojito with Ice Cream (7/10) – The mojito itself was refreshing, but the ice cream on top was too creamy, almost like yogurt, which didn’t complement the drink as well as I had hoped. Overall, I’m very disappointed. The presentation on the app set high expectations, but the reality fell far short. For 152DH, this meal was absolutely not worth it. Would I order again? Overall, there quality is good and the owners do their best when they are present. However, when they are not there, and after many frequent visits, I've taken note of three troubling occurrences. 1. Using my photo in their social media promotion without my permission. - I wouldn't mind this in a normal context, but, the fact that a picture was taken while I was trying to get work done and uploaded to their social media without even the slightest communication from them was, frankly, low and reprehensible. 2. Keeping track of customers - A few months ago, I had entered, said hello to the servers and went upstairs to the loft. The servers did not go upstairs until after 20 - 30 minutes to bring an order to another customer then they went back down stairs. 15 minutes after no reappearance, I decided to go down to take my own order. The two servers who were on duty were sitting down watching videos on their phones, completely in their own world. 3. Quality control in regards to dietary needs - Today, one of the servers took my order; I almost always get the vegetarian wrap. After three minutes, he came back to confirm the order... He brought me an order, placed it on the table and he realised that he had mixed up the order two minutes after bringing it out. Which wasn't a problem as I had just eaten a few fries. Then, he finally brought me the 'vegetarian' order. I took a bite and realised that it had meat on it. He apologised for the second mix-up. Thankfully, I'm not highly allergic (other than minor stomach problems) or have any religious restrictions when it comes to food. However, I do take my 22 year history of being a vegetarian seriously. Moving forward, I suggest the following: 1. Clear communication with the customers when wanting to use their photos for promotion. 2. When servers are on duty, they need to be better with keeping track of customers, even those who use the loft. 3. Better quality control when customers have specific dietary limitations, allergies or general requests. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: MAD 1–50 Food: 3 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 4 Vegetarian options: They have been open for quite a few months at this point in time, and have had plenty of time and opportunities to perfect their menu. So, there isn't any excuse for messing up the same order twice in a matter of a few minutes. Dietary restrictions: People have dietary limitations for a variety of reasons: health, religion, etc. All of which must be taken seriously and with care.

Dietary Concerns: We are truly sorry for the mistake with your vegetarian wrap. Mixing up orders, especially those involving dietary preferences or restrictions, is unacceptable. We are implementing stricter quality control measures and improving communication within the team to prevent such incidents in the future.
