Our favourite lunch in Marrakech! It's in no way a tourist place and pretty rough around the edges but if you can get past this the food is fantastic and incredible value for money. It's full of locals, many local builders/workers who have popped in to enjoy a quick delicious lunch. Beautiful fish that would be triple the price in a tourist spot. Simple but definitely worth trying where the locals eat. We got a plate with a mix of different types of freshly fried fish, shrimps and eggplants, with a complement of lemon wedges, bread and moderately hot sauce (similar to salsa), all for a super low price. The place is usually quite busy (for a reason!) but you can also take away your order. It's certainly not glamourous and chic, but the food tastes great, I definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to have a filling and delicious lunch, get a feel of how locals live and eat, or just wants to save a bit of money.
