We live in Mississauga and visit some friends in Scarborough that we have known for decades. They had mentioned this place and were always raving about their food and reasonable prices on their menu. So on Sunday we got 2 Montreal Smoked meat sandwiches which were packed with a lot of meat, we were able to make an additional 2 more sandwiches. The meat was delicious. The place has very limited seating, I do understand that if they were in a bigger place they won't be able to offer the low prices that they have. We will be visiting this place again. We've been coming here for a few years as we live in the neighbourhood, and can say that the quality of the food is very inconsistent. Sometimes the burgers are fresh and delicious while other times they taste old and dry. The biggest issue is the food being made in the deep fryer. Oftentimes it seems like they are using very old and dirty oil or are overcooking the food. We've ordered the fries and chicken tenders many times, and they often have a burnt taste to them and look very dark. I've attached a picture of the fries we ordered today and they were not edible at all. The owner is great though and I know he does his best to support the community. Many thanks for being our customer, Andrew. Not sure why you would not discuss this with me personally instead of trashing my restaurant publicly. All of our products are unconditionally guaranteed and will be replaced on the spot if you are anything less than 100% satisfied. Our burgers are made fresh daily. Our frying oil is premium canola and is changed every 2nd day. Again, if something gets slightly overcooked, please let us know and we will gladly replace it.
