Hi Tatem, I'm so sorry there was confusion with your meal. We take allergies very serious here, and do our best to accommodate everyone who visits us at Fargos. We use the term "gluten friendly" as we are a kitchen with many gluten ingredients, and as such, there is always a risk of cross contamination. We do our best to ensure that does not happen, so we do have separate pans and areas for cooking that do not come into contact, and we can also alter some of our dishes to not use the ingredients that have gluten. That means that while the dish may not be the exact same as the description with changes to the bread or type of sauce used, the majority of our dishes can come gluten free. Items such as the Molten Lava cake, are baked with Gf flour, and are always gluten free. The managers on duty can always help out with the options for altering anything you have a craving for to make sure it's safe for you as well! Again, I'm so sorry you had trouble with your meal.
