Absolutely awesome! We were traveling by bike. Due to the flood we had to wade to the restaurant with rubber boots, That had something of an adventure, The ambience is indescribable and has more of a yacht feeling than just a restaurant. You immediately feel at home on the upper deck - not least because of the friendly and attentive service. You are a guest and someone is happy that you came. Since it was our first time there, we ordered the “fish platter”. Basically a tasting plate over the main courses. And that was awesome! A dream from start to finish. Just as I had hoped - fresh fish without ski-ski, The fish is cooked to perfection without any spices or side dishes overpowering it. The highlight was the catfish, which I would never have ordered on its own. Disappointed too often. The catfish at Fränzle's was absolutely brilliant. Definitely have to go there again.
