Great food, so many people who know the dishes, being of the same culture, queuing up patiently can't be wrong. There's two places to queue up from, the hot tables with the meal items like biryanis, curries etc. and there's the line that starts with the burfi. The curries and biryanis are delicious. The tandoori chicken leg is great and a generous size for the price. Don't forget the naan or roti. The burfi are a beautiful mosaic of colourful sweets and the ones I've tried are addictive. Next along the counters and displays are the hot snacks like spring rolls, mutton rolls (there's the vegie version as well) and the namesake snack... The samosas!!! The samosas are the most popular and they continually bring out more doing their best to keep up with the demand. Tons of people come in just for these triangles of yumminess from people buying big boxes of them for dinner at home, at a friend's house or even the company potluck to working folk stopping in for a delicious and affordable lunch that could very well fit in under the PST threshold even today in 2024. Unless you're eating them in the car as part of your limited lunchtime, the chutneys are amazing and not to be missed. There is also chai which is pretty good, but it is served nuclear hot. All in all, you can get not one, but two pretty large meals for three people for not much more than what you'll spend on McShit... If you love Indian food, this is a great place or if you're new to Indian cuisine, definitely a place to try some dishes for the first time.

Now a days Embassy has become very expensive ,but they captured their customers from a very long time , samosas from 5 they give 3 , every item has been hiked by $1.50 , what a rise ? dosas too have grown small in size with increasing price . This is not fair , inflation is for everyone , you can't slice people who are so loyal to you . the staff with long hair , beard has no customer service , very rude guy , they need training to deal with people

I ordered food at Samosa King (Embassy Restaurant) and paid by debit card. The cashier said the total was $48.55 and charged $48.55 to my debit card. The cashier only provided debit card payment receipt printed by the payment terminal, which stated the amount paid was $48.55. Later, I insisted on getting the itemised bill printed by the point of sale (POS) machine. Upon my insistance, the cashier provided the POS receipt which stated the true total of food purchased and HST to be $48.54! Samosa King had just cheated me of $1 cent! Upon protesting, the cashier refused to credit (i.e., payback) the extra $1 cent to my bank via Visa (since I paid by Visa debit). Instead the cashier gave me $1 cent USA coin and insisted several times that it was $1 cent Canada coin. Upon further protesting, the cashier finally gave me $1 cent Canada coin. I am now left with a single Canadian $1 cent coin which is difficult to use as most Canadian businesses don't accept pennies and it is also difficult to deposit the single $1 cent coin into the bank. You may think it is just $1 cent, but if Samosa King continues cheating several cents from each of the thousands of customers on a daily basis, Samosa King would of have cheated a ton of money by the end of the year. Samosa King continues to cheat as their payment terminal is not linked to their POS machine. Hence, the amount payable is manually entered by staff into the payment terminal, where the staff tend to overcharge the unsuspecting customers. Most of the customers also do not bother asking for POS receipt (i.e., itemised bill). Customers must always hold businesses accountable by always exercising their right to ask for POS receipt after each transaction.
