I went there for open buffet breakfast. Service: 6/10 Taste: 1/10 Ambiance: 7/10 Simit was so dry and seemed like from yesterday or the day before. Tea was tasteless and bitter. Price performance ratio is bad. Too expensive for that quality. Tea costs extra. Ambiance is nice, service ok.

I recently had an extremely disappointing experience with Efendi Bey Pâtisserie & Café, which I had commissioned in advance for a special occasion cake. Despite an early order made a month in advance, the pastry shop disappointed my expectations in several ways. The first reason for my disappointment was the design of the cake. I had clear ideas about what I wanted the cake to look like and they were far from fulfilled. The final product was not what I had imagined. The decorations and details on the cake were inaccurate and appeared carelessly put together. This wasn't what I paid for and definitely not what I expected. Another problem was the waiting time. My pickup date was set and I had already ordered a month in advance to ensure the cake would be ready on time. However, I still had to wait an additional 30 minutes when I picked it up to decorate the cake with chocolate shavings (see picture). This caused inconvenience and stress as I needed the cake on time for my event. Communication with staff was also inadequate. No one has contacted me to inform me of the delay or to apologize for the inconvenience caused. Despite the disappointing experience, the taste experience of the cakes was positive. However, it is unfortunate that other aspects such as the design and the waiting time did not meet your expectations. All in all, my experience with Efendi Bey Pâtisserie & Café was unsatisfactory. The money and time I invested in this order was not justified. I hope the pastry shop can improve its services in the future to avoid such disappointments.
