What can I say, i thoroughly enjoyed my experience at Dong Né Chicken! Its glowing reviews do live up to its standards! Right off the bat, you are greeted by the amazing atmosphere of the place. Having been to Korea twice, I felt like I was transported back drinking beer and having fried chicken at the streets of Hongdae. We went during lunchtime (12:30) on a Wednesday and were seated right away. The establishment is also dog-friendly so that's a plus they offer a lunch menu for only €15 you get 6 pcs. of chicken plus a coleslaw salad and pickled radish (+€1 if you want the boneless chicken option) The chicken was absolutely divine. It was freshly fried, still hot and crispy when served. It's great to not have an overly breaded chicken, you can taste how juicy and meaty it is, and the serving was quite hefty! They also ask you how you like your Yangneom but even the spicy option is pretty mild. I like the balance of sweet and spicy and how the tangy taste still comes through. Frankly it was the best Korean chicken I've had ever since moving to France 3 years ago. I definitely see myself coming back again to try the other sauces. I definitely recommend Dong Né!
