Staffs are nice and friendly, and the foods/cakes are very nice. I purchased cakes 2 times already, and my family love this place. I do recommend cheesy cake (with shredded cheese on the top) and the Ube Creme brulee custard cake ! They are just amazing. A Filipino-run local business that makes some of the BEST desserts I've ever had! The Macao Imperial Tea Evanston location carries some of their best-selling products and truth be told, I have yet to try anything I didn't like. They offer a variety of homemade products such as cheesecakes (ube flan, Japanese, basque, yema, custard), mango float, graham de leche, brazo de mercedes, puto, tamales, and are constantly expanding their menu with new yummy treats. My personal favs are the ube flan and graham de leche that I keep coming back for. The owner is super sweet and always ensures the food is up to mark! I really can't recommend Da Sofi Cakes enough, it's the perfect place for your weekly dessert cravings, birthday party or catering needs. Food: 5 Service: 5
