Si vous voulez de bons souvenirs de Robson Street, venez d'abord dans ce restaurant. D'après les commentaires des visiteurs, la cuisine internationale est plutôt bonne. Un apéritif au saumon cuit à la perfection est le plat le plus savoureux. Rien n'est mieux que d'essayer un gâteau à la banane délicieux. On vous offrira un vin de maison délicieux. Coast propose un boisson de pain immense parmi ses boissons.

Une atmosphère romantique et un bel intérieur font de ce lieu un endroit charmant. Un personnel efficace attend les clients tout au long de l'année. Un service à cet endroit est agréable. On vous recommande aussi cet endroit car il propose un prix moyen. Frommer's est un guide de classification connu où ce restaurant détient 1étoile.

The four of us came specifically on a Sunday night to try the $68 Lobster Nights three course menu. But the $65 Dine Out Vancouver menu caught my interest so I alone among the four chose this. For the Lobster Nights menu the best appetizer is the Lobster Louie. The Crispy Lobster and Prawn roll was more Prawn than Lobster. For the main, the 1lb Lobster all’ Amatriciana was the better choice over the 1lb Classic Lobster Thermidor. For the Dine Out Vancouver menu, the New England Chowder was good as there was sufficient seafood to enjoy. The Surf n’ Turf was standard in flavor but the lobster was not good at all unfortunately. It was mushy. There are many reasons for that to happen. Regardless, this is a restaurant that boasts seafood as their specialty with offerings like omakase and premium sushi. Unfortunately the lobster I had was not a one off. The1lb Classic Lobster Thermidor also has a mushy texture. Both lobsters did not have any foul smell. It was just the texture which was not firm, tender, and succulent as it should be. Our server, Gloria, is a young and enthusiastic person. She is full of knowledge and will excitedly give recommendations. When I was about to order a bottle of white wine I simply chose from the Sommelier's Wine recommendations in the wine book that was for $69. Gloria communicated politely that based on our menu choices that the sommelier's wine list might not compliment as well. She politely recommended a bottle and it's a good recommendation but for $110 which was out of my price range. So, I politely pointed out two other bottles of white wine that were between $70 -$80. Gloria, I believe, has very good intentions, but one thing I would suggest for her to consider is to pick up the signals that your customer is conveying so as to not to unintentionally come across as overbearing. When it came to ordering the 1lb Lobster all’ Amatriciana, Gloria communicated that it is a short pasta. I showed her that the menu says bucatini which is a long pasta. Yet she insisted that it was a short pasta like penne. Well, when the 1lb Lobster all’ Amatriciana arrived, it was a long pasta. She later came over and expressed her surprise. As our dinner came to the end of dessert, we noticed that Gloria was distant and that our service was provided by a kind young gentleman. The time came that we wanted our bill, so I deliberately walked over to the oyster bar where Gloria was to ask her for the bill. But it turned out that the young gentleman came over to provide that service. We understand that it's not easy being a server especially in a high end restaurant. Maturity does take time and will develop differently according to each person's pace. This is our third time to Coast Restaurant.
