I loved this place! What a gem! I live in Genoa with my husband and toddler and had been meaning to try this place as it looked like the perfect place to have an outing for both adults and toddlers. We finally made it there. I must say it's even nicer than the photos had depicted! Really great location, very large space outside with a great place for kids to play. Green surroundings, good food, fresh air. This will definitely become a go-to for us! It is fairly easily accessible by bus (the 516 I think) but we went by car. There are quite a few parking spots around. Update: We went again and the food was unfortunately a bit disappointing. We had trofie al pesto which were extremely salty, and seafood pasta which was average. We were surprised since the first time we went was superb. We wondered if it were due to the fact that it was end of August, less staff maybe? Not sure. We will surely go again anyway! We arrived without a booking but the staff were so good and found us a table even though the restaurant was full. The views were amazing! The staff, especially Sara were excellent! Our food was delicious! Thank you so much to you all for making our last night in Italy so amazing! Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €30–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I went with some friends to Civico 1 for an aperitif and unfortunately we were not satisfied. Not very generous portions, platter with little variety of cheeses and cured meats, trofie with seafood sauce excessively spicy and overcooked, the only positive note was the fried anchovies (three each). The non-alcoholic cocktail was basically a simple orange juice with ice (the cocktail is something else). Nothing to say about the service, they were kind and helpful, the location offers a wonderful view (lucky for them). Kid-friendliness: The restaurant has a small space with games for children.
