Wow. Just wow. The chef knows what he is doing! I had the duck with smashed potatoes, green beans and tri-color carrots. Hubby had the Bbq Ribs. We are foodies, so we are happy to have found the Cedar House restaurant! The chef also had just prepared Tiramisu for dessert and it was the best that we have ever had! Singer,songwriter Gorden James from the Okanagan Valley was performing for the restaurant. He was awesome too! We arrived just as they were opening, so i was able to take photos without disturbing anyone. A 2 minute walk down a trail and STEPS leads you to a MILLION dollar view of the beauty of GOLDEN, BC. There is a stage there that they use for weddings! Wow!

When a local recommended this restaurant, and her friend commented "it's okay to moan while you eat, it's that good, and I do every time"... you know you can't miss trying this restaurant! As vegetarians, we decided to email beforehand, and heard right back from the chef, Corey Fraser, that he would have a few tasty vegetarian options for us; we were in. It was amazing and in particular the flavors were, as my wife says "mouthwatering". Try it when you're in Golden and see what you think. Cedar House Restaurant is a few miles out of town in a beautiful location on the side of a mountain in the pines.
