Très bel endroit pour prendre un petit déjeuner. La décoration est sympa et l’accueil et le service excellents. Les plats manquent un peu de saveur mais les boissons sont très bonnes. I like California bakery. However, if you have tried the breakfast or brunch then you need to ensure that you express what you want. In my experience, I have had the French toast. One for breakfast and twice for brunch. The first time it was fried to a crisp, lightly battered and warm to the taste and pleasant on the pallet! it was close to perfection if not perfect. The next two times I came to California bakery, the French toast taste as if they took the bread out of the bag and put it in the microwave for five seconds and served it to me on the plate with powdered sugar and that was it. I expressed this to say this… make sure you express how you want your food prepared and cooked otherwise you’re going to get what they give you. Make sure they don’t bring the ham out the refrigerator, cold on a plate. Make sure it is COOKED. Just like the menu says it is. When the chef brought my ham out to my table, I looked at it and I looked at him and then look at the guy who took my order. And I told him this is not cooked. So they took it back and got it right. Other than that, the service is good. Express how you want your food prepared and everything will be all right.
