When I looked at the map for restaurants in Avignon, I was shocked to find this one rated 5 stars by everyone. That’s rare! So, I decided to check it out to see what all the fuss was about. As soon as I walked in, I got it: a small place with a warm, friendly vibe thanks to the host (exactly what we needed after being battered by the mistral for hours in the narrow streets of the city, caught wearing the wrong clothes). The menu was just right—short but top-notch! We started with a very savory baked brie, after we had a phenomenally fragrant and delicious Shakshuka with egg, plus an amazing chicken pita. The tiramisu was really good too. Prices were very reasonable, everything was delicious! Yep, no complaints, definitely 5 stars. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Excellent!! I could not believe the 5-star in Google maps, prior to having dinner here, but it certainly deserves them all! And more! The food was delicious, primary plates and desserts alike (thank you, chef!), and the host is one of the friendliest and professional my wife and I ever dealt with, in our worldwide travels. Regardless of your reason of traveling to Avignon, or if you just moved there and haven't visited yet, do yourself a favor and enjoy "C'est la vie"! We'll be back for sure.
