Few words can put into context the experience this place is... the restaurant is simply fantastic: eating here in September we were delighted with local game, cooked with intention and delicacy. Service was handled by Jana, a sunny personality who accommodates your needs with the utmost flexibility and care. Then we saw the photos of what this place was in 1899 and early 20th century. Speaking with the owners, we were delighted to learn more about this institution that is in the process of being revived. If you are lucky to dine here in the near future, you will be part of the rebirth of this place. In a couple years time, this will certainly be a destination for foodies, lovers of stories... The 1900s dancefloor is still intact and in use every Tuesday night for tango night. The renovations are being done with respect of the heritage and we cannot wait to stay here when the amazing work already under way has been completed. An oasis of hospitality!! The Ristorante al Crott is not only a culinary highlight, but also a place where hospitality is very important. The two hosts Luca and Alois made our visit something very special and deserve the highest praise. As soon as we arrived we were warmly welcomed by Luca and Alois. Their passion for good food and excellent service was clear and they made sure we didn't want for anything. Luca and Alois were attentive and courteous throughout the evening. They were always willing to listen to our questions and gave us excellent recommendations about the dishes and wines. Her knowledge of the menu and wine selection was impressive. We felt in good hands and were able to enjoy the evening to the fullest. Every dish we ordered was a real taste explosion. The combination of fresh, high-quality ingredients and creative preparation methods made every dish a delight for the senses. The restaurant itself is stylishly furnished and offers a cozy atmosphere in which you immediately feel at home. All in all, I can't praise the restaurant enough. Thanks to the outstanding hosts Luca and Alois, the visit will be an unforgettable experience. If you are looking for excellent food, a warm atmosphere and a place to relax, then you should definitely visit this restaurant. Luca and Alois deserve the title of best hosts!
