Pareil que les autres commentaires… pas impressionne du tous par la nourriture malgré les multiples « stars americaines ». Jai dine a ROSCIOLI ce soir, le jour et la nuit avec ce resto. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 Price per person: €100+

Après avoir lu de nombreuses critiques élogieuses, j’avais de grandes attentes pour cet endroit. En arrivant, nous avons remarqué de nombreuses photos de célébrités ayant dîné ici. J’ai apprécié le style du restaurant. Malheureusement, la nourriture ne m’a pas particulièrement impressionné. En revanche, le pain frais et le vin étaient excellents. This is possibly the worst dining experience that I've ever had at a high-end restaurant. My partner and I were visiting Rome and we went to Antica Pesa for New Years Eve. The price was over 200 EU per person. (This is double the normal price, but it was NYE, so we splurged.) (We're from the U.S.) In general, the service at restaurants in Rome is a little different than the U.S. Servers are a little less attentive than the US, but give you more time to sit, relax, etc. With that said .. the service here was absolutely horrific and completely killed the vibe for us. During desserts, the wait staff attempted to take my dessert on 3 different occasions within a 5 minute period. I'm also a pretty fast eater. It wasn't as if we were lingering with the desserts for hours. On the last occasion, a bus boy tried to take my dessert away from me while I had my fork in my hand. I literally had to yell at the staff so they'd let me finish. It was absolutely surreal. They also played music starting around 11:50 or so. Multiple times, they'd start a song, then switch to another song seconds later. They constantly changed the level of the volume from way too low to super loud. It was hilariously incompetent. The food was solid, but only a few dishes were particularly excellent. The sea bream was great. The carbonara was pretty solid but not unique. During our trip to Rome, we visited 4-5 other restaurants for dinner that were about a fraction of the price but 5x better food. Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2 Price per person: €100+
