We can't understand the bad reviews. We spontaneously went to the “Alte Pfarrey” because we were “traveling through” to Italy with our dog. Everyone was very friendly here, the atmosphere is very nice. Our room was also nice, of course the “dog room” isn’t always the best, but it was very spacious and really nicely furnished and fit very well. We ate excellently, classically, but with a slightly more modern interpretation. We had a wonderful evening, our dog was allowed to go to the restaurant, which was of course a highlight for us after the long journey. And who complains that it tasted “bland”? All we can say is that it was a sign for us that it wasn't convenience, but that you could actually taste all the herbs, etc. That made it special for us that not everything was overly seasoned. The cooking point of both the scallop and the meat was perfect. By the way, we were asked directly on the phone whether we had any food intolerances or something similar. would have. You could mention that you are a vegetarian and I'm sure that would be taken into account. By the way, we also liked the breakfast because we don't like buffets. And you can go hiking in the Palatinate and in the surrounding area, which we also enjoyed in the morning. We recommend this nice restaurant 100% and would be happy to come back.
